Architecture
The reconfiguration and refurbishment of St. Teresa in Plymouth transformed the four storey building into a more efficient and modern student accommodation.
Appointed from RIBA Stage 1 through to completion, Loveluck Architecture developed the design on behalf of C3A.
Balancing respect for the existing structure with innovative planning, we created a concept and layout tailored to the needs of contemporary student living.
Taking the existing building's structure and form into account, a range of flat types were developed, including single-bedroom and premium studio apartments, enabling a comprehensive cost analysis to be conducted, at RIBA stage 2.
